Sorgenfrei is a series inspired by words and idioms from the book The Manticore by Roberetson Davies. The shape of the letters are abstracted by the mirror-image of the printing process, and the shapes of the letters are used as architectural building blocks of the image. Words hide or show themselves in the compositions, with fields of colour used to aesthetic effect.
